Slate has a great article about Chipotle and how they’re revolutionizing the food industry (a la Apple) although not getting the credit they deserve.
This further solidifies my love for Chipotle and I can’t help but be thoroughly impressed by their use of sous-vide cooking (typically considered only for cutting edge haute cuisine). There’s a reason everything tastes so good.
Chipotle’s definitely a standout company in a space where it’s nearly impossible to rise above the ‘fast food’ label.
Chipotle – Chelsea
Reading about their restaurant in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan has me jonesing for a quick little trip to NYC. At this store they have a renowned chef on the line testing new recipes. That’s not only impressive, but quite brilliant.
