Cultured Caveman started out as a single food cart in Portland, OR and since has expanded to become three food carts and a sit down 100% paleo restaurant.

Owners, Joe & Heather, started Cultured Caveman as a Kickstarter project in May of 2012. When they were looking to expand to a brick & mortar restaurant they went back to Kickstarter for support and were again, fully funded. The full restaurant opened two months after they’re Kickstarter ended in May 2014.
Why Is This Paleo Restaurant Review Different?
Jeff & I were able to hit up one of the food carts while we were in Portland for the World Domination Summit back in 2013 but we’ve yet to make our way back to the Pacific Northwest to try their paleo restaurant since it’s opened.
The next time we’re in Portland, Cultured Caveman will be our first stop so we can update this with a proper review of what Joe & Heather have available.
In the meantime, here is some praise for Cultured Caveman from some folks who have had the chance to make it to their restaurant.
