Sometimes you just need to add a little somethin’ somethin’ to your dish. That’s when you should turn to this Lemon Pepper Green Sauce.

Store bought sauces and condiments are typically packed with sugar and processed oils. When you make homemade versions of things like salsa, salad dressing, aioli and sauces – like this green sauce – you’re able to control all the ingredients.

It’s A Quickie

This green sauce will go from whole, real food ingredients to green sauce so fast, you may just start making it every day! I bet you’ll even make your own version once you see how easy it is.

Just add everything to a food processor, blitz and it’s ready to serve!

Serving Suggestions

I prepared a pork shoulder and drizzled this sauce over the top.

It also tasted great over chicken and scrambled eggs.

Once you have it made, I’m sure you’ll find several other ways to serve it.

Lemon Pepper Paleo Green Sauce 01

Lemon Pepper Green Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 3 green onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/8 teaspoon coarse ground sea salt
  • extra virgin olive oil, to taste

Directions

  1. Add green bell pepper, green onions, garlic powder, cumin, lemon juice and sea salt to a food processor and blend until everything is chopped and combined with the blade.
  2. Drizzle in a little olive oil and blend until sauce is at your desired consistency. (Add less oil for a more chunky consistency and more oil for a more liquid sauce.)
  3. Serve drizzled over pork or chicken dishes or as a salsa in tacos.
  4. Store leftover sauce in a covered container in the refrigerator. Consume 3-5 days from making.
  5. Enjoy! :)
