I have never been big on hot sauce. Now don’t laugh but I had actually never tasted it up until recently.
Jeff picked up a bottle of Louisiana Hot Sauce Original – a hot sauce variety with a clean list of ingredients – when he saw a photo from The Rock of him adding hot sauce to his rice.
We gave that a try (yes, we periodically have white rice) and boy was it delicious. Always trust The Rock. :)
Ever since then, I’ve yet to use hot sauce on anything.
Enter Paleo Mayo.
I had some leftover Paleo mayonnaise sitting in the fridge the other day and didn’t know how I was going to use it. I looked in my cabinet and that Louisiana hot sauce was staring me down. I added a few ingredients and BOOM a new Paleo dressing, Louisiana Sauce, was born.
You can use Louisiana Sauce as a Paleo dressing for salad or to season up some unseasoned cooked ground meat.
Pull that Louisiana Sauce back out and use it as a dip for some raw carrots, green peppers, celery sticks or cherry tomatoes.
It even makes a fantastic snack or appetizer to munch on while you’re cheering for your favorite team.
