Introduce your mouth to a delicious pairing of figs and mint with this Paleo Smoothie.
I don’t make them often but on a hot summer day a nice tall glass of cold and delicious liquid is probably calling your name.

More Green Than Sugar
This green smoothie is a combination of kale, spinach, cucumbers and mint. Be sure to use the baby kale and baby spinach so as to not have too bitter of a green in your drink.
Sweetened with fruit to give it just enough sweetness. The bananas help to put the smooth in smoothie. If you’re looking to reduce the sugar content, you can always remove one or both bananas. :)
Fig Season
I originally made this smoothie recipe several years back and whenever figs come back in season, I try to re-visit it again.
Look for fresh figs at the farmers market or some specialty grocery stores in late June through early fall. During other times of the year you can check the freezer isle. Do note that if you buy in bulk when they are in season, you can freeze them yourself and enjoy this smoothie using frozen figs whenever you’d like.
Pizza And A Smoothie
When Friday night rolls around, invite some friends over and whip up some Paleo pizza and serve this Paleo smoothie for dessert.
And, if you’re a fan of experimenting, make a Meatza instead!
