Spice Up Your Diet
Studies have shown numerous health benefits to including spices in our diets, and cardamom is no exception. It has been shown to lower blood pressure and it inhibits lipid peroxidation (meaning it prevents fats from oxidizing) both in our food and in our blood. This is awesome because, although cholesterol is not inherently dangerous, oxidized cholesterol is likely to latch onto the interior of our arteries, causing build-up and inflammation, both of which are very dangerous.
