Chili (as in the spicy stew with meat and chili peppers) can be made into a Paleo-friendly dish. It’s usually made from meat, some combination of vegetables, chili peppers, and sometimes tomatoes and beans. All these ingredients are Paleo except the beans, so as long as you leave those out, there’s no reason you can’t enjoy a big bowl of chili.
In fact, chili is a great meal to make on the cheap. If you still believe eating a Paleo diet has to be super expensive, just throw some ground meat in a pot with your choice of vegetables and spices, and you’re good to go!

The Health Benefits of Spices
If you do decide to spice up your chili with extra hot peppers, you might actually be doing yourself a nutritional favor. The capsaicin that gives chili peppers their heat has some proven health benefits. It’s a powerful anti-inflammatory, and may even have some anti-cancer effects (source).
