As long as you can tolerate dairy, yogurt can be incorporated as part of a healthy Paleo lifestyle, so does that mean we can include frozen yogurt?
Tainted With Sugar
Absolutely not. Frozen yogurt is made almost entirely of milk and sugar. Sometimes (but not always) yogurt cultures are added to make the dessert more tart than traditional ice cream. Although quality yogurt certainly has some health benefits, the high sugar content of frozen yogurt is capable of undoing most, if not all of those benefits.
Sugar + Sugar
Milk is already pretty high in sugar. Even some of us who occasionally consume dairy tend to stay away from milk because of it’s sugar content. When even more sugar is added, you’re consuming a dessert that’s little better than a soft drink.
