Busting the Mythg
Although many of us were raised to believe all things fruit are healthy, that’s not quite true. Yes, fruit has vitamins and minerals, but it also has a lot of sugar. When you drink fruit juice, you get all the sugar, only some of the nutrients, and none of the fiber that helps mitigate the glycemic load of the sugar. When you add even more sugar to fruit juice and then jell it, the result is basically candy.
