Nori is a type of seaweed. The first step to living a Paleo lifestyle is to eat lots of vegetables and there’s no reason we can’t include sea vegetables in that prescription.
Where to Find Nori
If you’ve ever had sushi, you’ve probably had nori. It’s often used to wrap up the raw fish and rice into convenient little cylinders, and you can always buy sheets of the seaweed yourself and make sushi at home.
The Nutrients
Nori isn’t as nutrient-rich as some of its fellow sea vegetables, but it’s far from nutrient-deficient. It provides a healthy helping of vitamin C and multiple B vitamins, in addition to a fair amount of minerals, such as zinc and iron.
