Herbs and spices can do much more than make your food delicious (although they can certainly do that, too). For thousands of years, people have been using herbs and spices to cure various ailments and modern science has recently found some evidence to back up some of these claims.

Sage is no exception. It has demonstrated antiseptic and antifungal properties and has been shown to relieve digestive issues. For women, sage has also proven effective against menstrual cramps and PMS, as well as menopause symptoms like hot flashes.
