Eat Your Greens
Tarragon is an herb and there are always reasons to include more herbs in your diet. For starters, it’s technically a leafy green, and we all know how good leafy greens are for us.
It comes loaded with vitamins A and C, which together make for a powerful antioxidant. It also comes with trace minerals like iron and calcium and even some omega-3 fats (which are also anti-inflammatory).
Fresh vs. Dried
To get the full benefit of these nutrients, you’re better off getting your tarragon fresh, rather than dried, if you can. Once dried, it loses a lot of its health benefits.
