This little spice is an extremely powerful anti-inflammatory, which is great because inflammation has been linked to just about every chronic disorder, from diabetes to Azheimer’s to cancer to arthritis. Recent science has shown that turmeric is in fact effective in battling all three (source), in addition to boosting the immune system.
