Not all lunchmeat is created equal. When you find a quality brand, with an ingredients list you can read and understand, these snacks become a great option. Especially for little fingers. Seek out brands such as Applegate Farms, Niman Ranch and of course, local farmers in your area.

Trying to get your kids to eat better? Having a hard time convincing them that healthy, homemade food really is better than mac ‘n’ cheese out of a box? This recipe is here to save the day. Pack these in your kids’ lunches and make them the envy of the schoolyard.
A Paleo Potluck Pleaser
These turkey roll ups were inspired by conventional turkey roll-ups. When I was looking for something to bring to a potluck all I did differently was leave out the tortilla, add a few spices and voila! Primal Turkey Roll-Ups were served!

You can bring these to a potluck or serve them at your next dinner party as an appetizer. They make a great finger food, just be sure not to ruin your dinner, because these protein-packed babies will fill you up fast.
A Unique Flavor Profile
Ginger, cardamom, and allspice blend really well together and they’re a great way to add a spicy little surprise to these roll-ups. Feel free to use the same spices I used, or go through your own spice drawer and play around.
Do you prefer something with a little heat? Something smoky? Conduct experiments to come up with as many versions of these roll-ups as you can.
