I feel like pickled eggs get a bad rap.

Seriously though, that’s the mental picture I gather when pickled eggs are mentioned. But not anymore! After trying these Turmeric Pickled Eggs I have a new mental image when it comes to pickled eggs and also a new recipe for a delicious go-to Paleo snack.
I had never pickled anything prior to this.
If you only cook eggs a couple different ways you’re totally missing out on all the possibilities.

This recipe is sure to be a great snack you can prepare once and have around the rest of the week.
The Power of Turmeric
A while back, Mark wrote all about the health benefits of turmeric. To give you a glimpse into some of what he said, “turmeric has shown promise in treating and preventing Alzheimer’s disease and it has improved insulin sensitivity and blood glucose levels in rodent models”. To read all the other good stuff about turmeric that he mentions, head over to Mark’s Daily Apple to read more.
Turmeric Eggs
This recipe requires you to first hard boil and peel the eggs so don’t skip reading the ingredients section before diving into the recipe.
Look at those beautiful, golden eggs! They’d make a great food gift for someone celebrating their golden birthday. :)
